Production & recording

Dean started recording and producing seriously in 2010, first making demos to enter into songwriting competitions, but progressively getting deeper and deeper into the art and science of arranging, recording and production. While his first self-recorded and -produced album was an EP of barely-embellished acoustic demos (called Bridesmaids because it comprised songs that were all runners-up in songwriting competitions), he has increasingly recorded and produced music for numerous local artists in a range of styles including powerpop, guitar rock, folk and synthpop, in his well-equipped home studio in Footscray.
